Our Story

This passion project took flight thanks to two seasoned globetrotters, Jake Jimmerson and Nicole Wallace, whose decades of combined travel experience have been shaped by their shared philosophy: travel should be both joyful and enlightening. After transitioning from careers in demanding office jobs, they found themselves reigniting their lifelong wanderlust—and decided to share it with others who crave deeper connections to the places they visit and the cultures they encounter.

Nicole brings her European flair for slow travel and off-the-beaten-path discoveries to the blog, while Jake infuses his Asian roots and a knack for finding hidden gems and local experiences into every destination guide and travel tip. Together, they’ve traversed the globe (both literally and figuratively) to curate a collection of destinations and travel strategies that span continents, cultures, and travel styles—all united by timeless principles of mindful exploration.
